A session for Financial Institutions to learn about guarantor and lender scorecards, including an overview of the scorecards, an introduction to scorecard training tools, how the scorecards can be used to measure compliance, and the process for refining scorecards.
Default Prevention 2008
This session will feature a review of the 2005 Cohort Default Rate data and process for Schools, Guaranty Agencies and Lenders, a preview of the eCDR Appeals process (new in 2008) for schools, and a discussion of successful strategies for minimizing delinquency and default.
FFEL Regulatory and Policy Update
Policy Update focusing on lender and guaranty issues including a review of the recently concluded negotiated rulemaking process, an update and discussion of possible Budget Reconcilation and Higher Education Reauthorization changes, and any other subregulatory guidance affecting them, excluding Consolidation and NSDLS issues.

This session will provide Financial Partners with a view of the upcoming Integrated Partner Management System, what to expect and when.
NSLDS for Financial Partners
This session will provide Financial Partners with an overview of security, access rights, and the rules of use for NSLDS.
Post Default Collections
This session will review effective collection techniques on defaulted loans, including rehabilitation. We will cover issues such as communication with external partners, as well as proper incentives to collect.
Consolidation Loans
This session will provide a Consolidation Loan Update that focuses on the implementation of HERA-related changes to the FFEL Consolidation Loan Program. We will cover recent Dear Colleague Letters on FFEL Consolidation eligibility, including guidance provided and data trends on LVC rejections. Proposed or enacted legislation that will further impact the FFEL Consolidation Loan program will be highlighted.

This session will give you a high level overview of the Financial Partners Portal, the Financial Partners Data Mart, and NSLDS, highlighting the information the lenders can access in each.
