Financial Aid for Technical Staff

First Time SAIG Users
This session will provide basic instructions to all new SAIG users on how to enroll for SAIG and the many tools that are available to users.
Integrated Postsecondary Education Database (IPEDS)
A representative from the U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) will provide an update on the data collection system of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). This session will review upcoming changes, report on current projects, and discuss planned improvements and enhancements. Staff will demonstrate how IPEDS data can be easily accessed and used in addressing key needs for information through the IPEDS web based data use book.
Federal Student Aid Technical Architecture Initiatives
Federal Student Aid is implementing technical infrastructure based on Enterprise Portal, Security Architecture, Enterprise Service Bus, and Service-Oriented Architecture.
